Please be aware that there are currently widespread issues being experienced with the OpenAthens Single Sign-On Service which enables access to many of the University’s e-resources. As such, in the short term users may encounter difficulties in accessing some journal content via Summon and other portals. OpenAthens are investigating this problem, and will provide an update as soon as possible.

We are currently experiencing connectivity issues with Box of Broadcasts (BoB) database. Trying to access the database may result in a blank screen or a ‘504 gateway timeout’ message. Our supplier is aware of the problem and is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
Some of our users may be experiencing problems accessing Springer Nature journals online. Attempting to access journal content can result in the error message, ‘Error 503 Backend is unhealthy’.

Some of our users are currently experiencing problems accessing MyiLibrary e-book titles off-campus. Links in summon take you to a MyiLibrary login page rather than to the e-book.
Unfortunately we do not have a work-around for this problem. We have contacted our supplier about the issue and are working with them to resolve this as soon as possible.
Please be aware that Nature journals are currently experiencing technical issues and the webpages for these resources may run noticeably slower than usual until further notice.
