I am referring to the analytics of the colour coding in GradeMark. I have a PhD student who would benefit from using this technique in her research. Do you have a publication on this, either by yourself or someone else, that we can cite?
I am looking forward to a reply, thanks
Lynette

I’d be really interested in attending that meeting. DO you have details?

There is a meeting at the OU in Nov (19th) – a SOLAR flare – socieity of learning analytics. I’m hoping to attend.

thanks for this useful summary. It is great to keep further developing our use of GradeMark by (re)defining the definition of useful student feedback. In the SCALA project, we are also seeking to carry out a pilot using audio feedback to find out where its potential and limitations lie.

Greetings from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam,

Patris van Boxel

The iPad app is certainly focused on making the process of engaging with student work cleaner, clearer and easier. It will also allow for offline marking which is something about which I know a lot of people are keen.

I can’t find anything on the web.

It’s more expensive than Turnitin which of course gives plagiarism detection as well as a decent online marking app. Turnitin have the market pretty well sewn up by providing an end to end solution. I hope they add some more features to compete better with turnitin, they could definitely benefit from some competition!
