In early 2010 a beta version of Fame was introduced with BvD’s new user interface. This beta version will become the official version in July this year.
You will still be able to access the old version, but after July we won’t be developing the software and the data will be frozen. We strongly encourage you to switch to the new version now to minimise disruption. We’re available to help you with this transition and help you migrate any pre-saved analyses across. The new software is more modern and clearer to use and takes advantage of recent developments in technolgy to improve your user experience.
Popular features are:
• Automatically saved history – your searches are saved so you can re-launch them even if you didn’t save them
• More flexible report and list formatting - you can click and drag items around to edit your lists
• More advanced and accessible Add-in technology to create customised templates
• Easier integration and customisation
These, and all other new developments, will only be on the new beta version of Fame.
We are currently experiencing sporadic problems when searching on FAME. An error message displays saying your search was interrupted. Publisher informed.
