BMJ

There is currently a problem accessing BMJ articles.  This is being investigated, and hopefully will be resolved soon. Access is still available via Summon A-Z  list of Journals.

British Medical Journal (resolved)

We’re currently experiencing problems linking to articles on the British Medical Journal (BMJ) web site from Summon.

If you see an error page with the message “We apologise but that page cannot be found”, the temporary workaround is to click on the “No full text? Look for more sources” link at the top of the page and then click on the “Search for the full-text” link to get to the article.

British Medical Journal (resolved)

There is a problem with linking to articles on the BMJ web site which appears to have been caused by recent changes made by the publisher…

“A couple of weeks ago, bmj.com moved to a new technical platform. Some features and functions look different, and a few (rapid responses, for example) are not yet working as intended. We are working hard to rectify the problems, and we apologise for any problems you may experience.”

The issue has been reported to the publisher and hopefully they’ll be able to rectify the problem promptly.
