A statement from WoK…

Currently the Web of Knowledge platform does not support Internet Explorer version 9 browsers. Therefore, in order to view the results using this version of the browsers, users need to turn on the compatibility mode in the browsers or switch to a different browser that is compatible. For example: Firefox 3.5.

The users can enable the compatibility mode in the browser as follows:

1. Click on Tools menu

2. Click on Compatibility View Settings

3. Type ‘isiknowledge.com’ in the textbox and click on Add

The issue is with the TR development team, however at this time they are unable to provide a confirmed time-frame when this browser version would be made compatible with the Web of Knowledge platform and we will update you when this is known.

We have trial access until 18th June to the British Nursing Index, a leading database for support of practice, education, and research for nurses, midwives, and health providers in the UK or following UK practice. Coverage is mainly titles published in the UK, plus a selection of important international nursing titles. Coverage is 1994-present.

 This weekend Hemscott will be carrying out some planned maintenance on the Company Guru service. The work will commence on Saturday 14th May starting from 9am.  Downtime is estimated to be around three hours and a message will be displayed during this time. Our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to essential site maintenance, access may be interrupted on Saturday  -  May 14, 2011 for up to 2 hours starting 10:00 am London   (UTC/GMT 09:00) .

We are currently experiencing problems viewing Emerald titles. The publishers are aware of the problem and we hope the situation is resolved shortly.
