Ulrichsweb maintenance (resolved)

Serials Solutions will be performing scheduled maintenance to Ulrichsweb and Ulrich’s Serials Analysis System on Saturday 7th May from 2am.

Trial access to the Literature Encyclopaedia

We have trial access to the Wiley-Blackwell Encyclopedia of Literature, an online resource for literature and literary studies. The Encyclopedia comprises individual titles covering key literary genres and period – the online version amalgamates all these titles into one ground-breaking resource which is easy to access and use.

Access is via IP  – for off campus access contact the Music, Humanities and Media team for further information: library.mh@hud.ac.uk

The trial runs until 12th May.

Hemscott Company Guru scheduled maintenance (resolved)

  This weekend Hemscott will be carrying out some planned maintenance on the Company Guru service. The work will commence on Saturday 9th April starting from 9am. Downtime is estimated to be around three hours and a message will be displayed during this time. Our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

TRILT access down (resolved)

Access to TRILT is currently unavailable, the provider has been informed of the problem and has sent this reply:

Due to technical difficulties beyond our control, some OpenAthens and Shibboleth users may be experiencing problems accessing the BUFVC’s authenticated resources. We are working hard with our authentication partners to fix the problem and hope to have access restored shortly. We thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

ProQuest NewsStand (resolved)

All requests for articles on the ProQuest NewsStand web site are failing at the moment with the following error: “500 Servlet Exception”

The problem has been reported to ProQuest.

Emerald journals (resolved)

The Emerald web site is currently experiencing occasional problems and may be unavailable for brief periods today.
