Logging into Lexis

One of the most common questions we get is how to log into Lexis resources to get the full-text from Summon. Unfortunately, with Lexis, users are required to manually authenticate, so we’re not able to do it automatically for you (which is the way we prefer to do things).

Typically, this is the screen you’ll see when trying to access an article on Lexis…

From this screen, you need to authenticate yourself. Firstly, click on “Academic Sign-In”…

…and then click on “Athens Sign-in”…

From there, follow the prompts and you should find yourself logged in to Lexis :-)

Wiley Online Library (resolved)

We’ve just been alerted by Athens that there’s an ongoing issue with Wiley Online Library…

“There is an on-going issue with access to Wiley Online Library. If you link from an external site such as MyAthens or an intranet site etc to http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/athens, users do not gain access to the resource, but are presented with the Wiley login page instead.

This does not affect users who go direct to http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com and click the Athens login link.

We have been working with Wiley to help them resolve this issue. Wiley believe that they have identified the problem and are currently working to release a fix ASAP. We will send a further update once the issue is resolved.”

This issue shouldn’t affect access to Wiley articles from Summon.

Emerald (resolved)

Lancet Neurology journal
