Ongoing problems with the web proxy servers are affecting access to all of the resources within MetaLib that use EZproxy. In particular, this will affect off-campus users. Typically the error message will be “Connection refused … please try again later”. Computing Services have been informed and are working to resolve the problem.

The ‘Find Articles by Text’ search in EJS is currently returning an error message. Ebsco have been contacted and are looking in to the problem.

ScienceDirect and Scopus are unavailable again until 10pm GMT today due to scheduled maintenance.

There’s currently a problem with Athens authentication onto the Westlaw site. The problem has been reported and Westlaw are looking into it.

Access to Trendstop has been restored. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Currently experiencing sporadic access problems to LexisNexis – error message appears. Publisher notified.

Currently experiencing problems accessing EEBO. A page comes up saying the subscription has expired. The publisher has been contacted and is looking in to it.
