ScienceDirect downtime during November

Elsevier have announced that ScienceDirect and Scopus will be unavailable during the following period for scheduled maintenance:

Sunday 2nd November, from 1am GMT until 1pm GMT

Further disruption is expected on 15th November and we’ll post more details in due course.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience the downtime causes.

Currently not available from off campus.

Informaworld

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with the Informaworld web site. Normal service should be restored by the beginning of next week.

The problem has been reported to CSA Technical Support

The ebrary search pages are currently very slow.

An urgent call has been put through to the ebrary support team, we hope to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

Access has now been restored to Trendstop. The resource can be accessed by logging into MetaLib.

MetaLib/SFX upgrade on 14/Oct/2008

We’ll be applying a minor upgrade to MetaLib first thing on Tuesday 14th October. The upgrade to MetaLib 4.2.2 (SP 402) doesn’t add any new functionality, but will fix a number of minor bugs.

The upgrade work will be carried first thing on Tuesday morning and, if everything goes smoothly, will be completed by 8:30am. Whilst the upgrade is taking place, MetaLib will be unavailable.

Following on from that, we’ll be running a routine update of SFX. Although this takes longer to complete, SFX should be available throughout the update process.

As always, if you have any questions, please email library.support@hud.ac.uk

University Repository

The University Repository is currently unavailable. We are working with eprints at the University of Southampton to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

MyiLibrary

Athens access has now been restored to MyiLibrary
