Due to increasing demand for training for UCB radio, I have decided to hold an extra radio session on Monday 14^th May 2012 between 13.15 and 15.00 for all the students who were in exams this week and couldn’t make the introductory sessions, but would still like to be involved with the radio training.

Throughout the summer we will be training students to be presenters, producers and researchers for UCB radio which will officially launch during fresher’s week in September 2012.

This is exclusive training unlike no other! Students will be taught by the best in the industry! We have Radio 1 DJ Adam Catterall, Sony gold award winning Dixie from Real Radio, Simon Hirst and Becky Hayes from Capital Fm, Ollie Hayes from Hallam Fm and myself who’s worked at Real Radio, Hallam Fm, Dearne Fm , BBC Sheffield, BBC Leeds and BBC Radio York.

Sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer until the launch in September.

It is not compulsory to attend all the sessions, although students must be present during the first week.
